ONE BODYGUARD OF CHECHEN PRESIDENT KILLED, FOUR INJURED IN ROAD ACCIDENT

A bodyguard of the Chechen president has died in a road accident in Ingushetia and four others were rushed to hospital in critical condition, press secretary of the president Saidmagomed Isarayev told Interfax Monday morning. \"After midnight President Alu Alkhanov was returning to Grozny to meet a delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) having interrupted a working visit to Moscow. Most regions of Tajikistan\'s have been hit by severe natural gas and power shortages during the past five days. RFE/RL\'s Tajik Service reports that electricity supplies to the capital, Dushanbe, and Khojand, the country\'s second-largest city, were drastically restricted on the night of November 27.
