GEORGIAN SPECIAL FORCES KILL GUNMAN AT TV HEADQUARTERS

Georgian special forces shot dead a gunman who broke into the headquarters of the Rustavi 2 television company in Tbilisi on Thursday. Special forces freed the member of staff whom the attacker, armed with a handgun, had taken hostage. The gunman, who has not yet been officially identified, was killed after fruitless talks with special forces.
