Kyrgyzstan\'s \"Agym\" newspaper published poll results on 31 January showing that 74 percent of respondents said they distrust President Kurmanbek Bakiev. The telephone poll queried 3,416 Kyrgyz citizens in Bishkek and a number of other cities. Asked whether they trust Bakiev, 74 percent replied \"no,\" 17 percent said \"yes,\" and 9 percent said they did not know.
