ABKHAZ PARLIAMENT ACCUSES GEORGIA OF GENOCIDE AGAINST OSSETIANS

The Abkhaz People\'s Assembly has accused Georgia of perpetrating genocide against Ossetians in the 20th century. \"Throughout the 20th century, systematic and large-scale repressions against Ossetians on the part of Georgia bear the features of genocide and fall under the December 9, 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide,\" the Abkhaz lawmakers said in a resolution passed unanimously on Thursday.
