Revaz Adamia, who is Georgia\'s ambassador to the UN, has written to the UN Security Council to request a full-fledged UN peacekeeping mission for Abkhazia. Adamia argued that the Russian peacekeeping force deployed under the auspices of the CIS is ineffective, and he accused Russia of the \"military annexation\" of a part of Georgia\'s territory.
