Georgian police units have attempted to gain control of a road near the South Ossetian capital of Tskhinvali, South Ossetian envoy to Moscow Dmitry Medoyev said. \"Four groups of Georgian riot police, about 50 in total, attempted to seize control of a bypass road outside Tskhinvali.
