KASHAGAN FIELD FULL-SCALE PRODUCTION DELAYS POSSIBLE

The Kashagan oil field in Kazakhstan might not start full-scale production until 2009 or 2010, Interfax said, citing Kazakh Energy Minister Baktykozha Izmukhambetov. Extra work may be needed to ensure the project operates safely, Izmukhambetov told Interfax in Astana, the Kazakh capital. Kashagan was initially scheduled to start work in 2008, the news agency said.Visit also
