Armenian Aram Vardanyan was elected in the municipal elections at the Tsukhrut village of Akhaltsikhi region of Georgia where Georgian Naira Samsonidze was alternative candidate. Vardanyan received 650 votes, whereas Samsonidze – about 120, A-Info agency reports.
