After a five-week trial, Azerbaijan\'s military court passed sentence on 17 May on seven Azerbaijani citizens who volunteered to fight on the Chechen side in the ongoing war. The men were charged with belonging to illegal armed formations, illegal possession of weapons, and deserting from the Azerbaijani Army.
