The Georgian government on Wednesday adopted a 15-year program aimed against poverty. Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze noted that \"the program is so realistic and well-planned that its successful implementation is beyond doubt.\" The program was worked out together with international organizations and donor countries, Shevardnadze pointed out.The Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst is a biweekly publication of the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute & Silk Road Studies Program, a Joint Transatlantic Research and Policy Center affiliated with the American Foreign Policy Council, Washington DC., and the Institute for Security and Development Policy, Stockholm.
