The 10th session of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) adopted a special resolution on Tajikistan on 17 October. The resolution, which appealed to OIC member states and financial institutions to help Tajikistan\'s government overcome the country\'s economic problems and promote economic reform, was requested by Tajik President Imomali Rakhmonov, who attended the OIC session in Kuala Lumpur.
