A delegation of European Union experts led by Finnish diplomat Pekka Oinonen visited the eastern Uzbek city of Andijon on December 14 in a bid to assess the bloodshed there in May 2005, RFE/RL\'s Uzbek Service reported. Oinonen told RFE/RL that the delegation met with city officials, but had no time to talk to residents.
