The Azeri president Heidar Aliyev visited on August 11 Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic an (exclave in northwest of Azerbaijan) and have a number of official and non-official meetings. This visit was held three days prior to the meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan who will meet August 14 along the border of two states in Sadarak district of the republic of Nakhichevan to try to achieve a peaceful settlement to the Nagornyy Karabakh conflict.
